In case you are wondering: Kong Volmer was the nickname of one of the great Danish kings of the middle ages. Kong Volmers real name was Valdemar Atterdag (1320-1375). In those days Northern Zeeland was the kings domain and he had to travel through Farum to get to his summer recidence (and hunting cottage) in Northern Zeeland. Outside Farum, at the crossing point of the lake a grave is placed. Legends tell this to be the kings.
