Callahan Goal

Last wednesday at practice Mads Peter pulled the first Callahan goal in the history of Ragnarok.

For those of you who don’t know this rule

The Callahan goal is a new rule in Europe, but has been practiced for some time in USA.

It is possible for the defending team to score a point, without actually having to make a single throw.

You simply score a goal by making an interception in the opponents endzone. (in the old rules you had to take the disc to the front line of the endzone and play it from there).

It was a funny feeling at the practice, a bit like when there was the “golden goal” in football, but I guess you just have to get used to the rule.

What do you think about the Callahan goal?
